Re: What is a "Utopia" to you?
A very interesting and bold idea, Elie-chan. I like the sound of a world ruled by love, although I firmly believe it's a true-blue Utopia..... *huggles Elie-chan* Thanks for joining in here.
Love across gender and age..... I had a time of thinking about sexual deviations since EXEHQ and its debates. I know some are difficult to define, and where a relationship that people would consider an example of pedophilia starts, say, with the child's consent (and he/she is at the age+mental level to understand), I wouldn't be the one to throw stones. I'd be willing to accept a relationship like that.
One mind different bodies and a multitude of clones sounds too extreme for me, personally. I like it when we differ in mind, it makes us interesting. One likes yellow one likes red one likes blue one likes green...
Then, copies of one being that differ in mind and body, we already are. Assuming the creator is God. But I won't pursue that theme much now.....
In my kind of Utopia I would like people to learn from their mistakes. Simple, yet crucial. What do you think, is that a good rule overall?

yes that would be good but what about the people who don't want to learn from their mistakes but than there is the people who want to break the rules of anything look at the brothers who wanted to defy gravity they broke the rule of gravity some people just want to break rules but now I am probably babbling like an idiot. I'm saying that utopia is not possible to everyone standard

XD You're not babbling like an idiot. Maybe for just a moment because you repeated it twice, about breaking the rules.
I can't imagine a situation when somebody doesn't want to learn from mistakes. Learning from them means you avoid the mistake in the future, so what's the problem?
As for defying the rules.... let them try. XD And suffer the consequences each time. It'd be fun that way.
We, as humans the way we are, are so varied we can't imagine a standard holding us all together, can we? Except our biological heritage..... but what if a Utopia had such new biological standards for its humans? Such as less aggression (I mentioned that before).

Re: What is a "Utopia" to you?
Then we reach the point of asking, what defines us as humans? Our aggression? Or something more than that?
In this environment, maybe. But a more peaceful environment where we don't need it at all....... why keep the aggression? To artificially revive conflict after it has been abolished?

Re: What is a "Utopia" to you?
what defines us as humans.. it is probably the fact that we think we are all powerful nothing to stop us when in fact we are weak.. why keep aggression that is our humanity.. the utopia you made is not for humans but a new species a better species than us
